Relationship experts say your home may be your spiritual home, but your decor could scare away Mr. Right.
Dana Kritskes posted a video on TikTok detailing a list of the most common home decorations that keep men away.
“Have you ever thought about what items around you make men uncomfortable? Well, today I’m going to tell you,” Kritskes said in the video.
Warning video contains graphic representations
“Here are the most disgusting items in your home by men,” she said.
Kritskes doesn’t need a crystal ball to tell her that some men aren’t interested in her. Therefore, people who want to remove stones may want to discard the geode beforehand.
Next up on Kritskes’ list of human killers are stuffed animals.
Stuffed animals that are popular with children may have “sentimental” value, but they may be holding you back from finding a living friend.
Another no-no for men is dreamcatchers, according to Kritskes.
Popular bedroom decorations can not only keep nightmares away, but also scare potential spouses.
For those who have a lot of snow globes, it can be a cold and lonely winter.
“Snow globes are a nostalgic item that you want to collect as a child,” says Kritskes.
“But if you’re still attached to them as an adult, it might be time to discuss your attachment issues,” she joked.
Hair iron left in the sink
Leaving your curling iron in the sink can make men flinch.
Kritskes was guilty of shunning the man and shared a reference photo of her own bathroom.
“Live, Laugh, Love” sign
You may be able to live, laugh, and love all by yourself thanks to these popular bedroom signs.
Mr. Kritskes has a message in his room that says, “Yesterday I really wanted to eat tacos. Today I’m going to eat tacos. Follow your dreams.”
“I should probably delete it,” she told her TikTok followers.
framed photo of myself
Men are disgusted by women who have framed pictures of themselves on their walls.
“I’m all about self-love, but it’s hard for me, too,” Kritkes said.
It’s a small world, after all, and it might seem even smaller if Disney’s collection is all you have with you.
“I’m disappointed that I can’t cheer for everyone here,” Kritskes said.
“I know I’m in the minority, people support Disney, but show me the episode of the hoarder where there wasn’t a Mickey Mouse pillow somewhere in the corner.”
