The Bellevue Thrift Shop officially opened for business earlier this summer, joining several other local thrift stores that recently celebrated their grand openings.
Favor It Thrift Shoppe celebrated its grand opening in June at 5931 Hames Road SE in Bellevue.
The business, owned and operated by Michelle Peake, had been in the works for several months before opening in early June.
The business features a large inventory of used and new clothing, shoes, toys, home decor, furniture, jewelry, and many other items, among others.
“As much as we love our customers, we want to give back to the communities they come from. We are a Christian store where everyone is welcome. Not only are you part of the Favor It family, They are part of our Favor It family,” reads a statement on the company’s website.
The shop regularly hosts sales and discount events, including a “fill-a-bag” clearance promotion where visitors can fill a bag and buy all the items inside for one set price.
The opening of Favor It Thrift Shoppe joins several other similar businesses that opened in the tri-county area this summer.
That includes the Goodwill Outlet Store at 2920 W Silver Springs Boulevard, which celebrated its grand opening in August.
That same month, Restoring Hope Clothing Boutique celebrated its grand opening at 104 E Wonders in Wildwood.
In late July, All You Need Is Thrift opened a new store at 424 S Pine Avenue in Ocala.
