An interior designer shares how she styles the worst home decor she’s ever seen.
This interiors fan said the off-putting items are so common that she had to figure out how to style them herself.
Phoenix Gray, also known as “Design Dad,” shared his tips in an online TikTok video.
He said: “These are some of the creepiest, worn-out domestic discord items you’ll see all over social media. As an interior designer, I have some too, so let’s style them.”
First, Phoenix shared how he styles Tom Ford books.
he said: “Every Instagram girly in 2007 had one. It’s so hyped, but let’s be honest, the black and white fabric coffee table book is very well-worn. It goes with absolutely everything.”
Furthermore, he added: “They’re not doing anything wrong when it comes to coffee table books. I always stack them because I like to add a little bit of height in a space.”
Phoenix said you can’t go wrong with placing it in a pile of books on your coffee table.
he said: “Anyway, this is how I styled these large format books that I always stack, so I ended up using that as a base. I already have other coffee table books lined up. .”
The next item that Phoenix is tired of seeing is the Hermès Avalon blanket.
He said: “Decoration He is beloved by designers when it comes to styling every room imaginable.”Again, this blanket is so overused and overhyped that it’s either love it or hate it.” It will be either.”
However, Phoenix claims that the tone of the blanket makes the job much easier.

“One of the great things about this sexy piece is that it’s dual-toned, so you can style two different colorways in different rooms.”
“The classic way to style it is by combining multiple elements, which is very effective. Just divide it into two pieces. It gives you a really nice formal place look that you can wear anywhere. ”
Phoenix places a blanket on the blue ottoman seat.
he said: “I usually do this on the edges of ottomans to give them a nice little fluff that not only adds a bit of color but also adds height and dimension depending on the mood of the style.”
“If you really need to use these ottomans, they work great just by putting them on top, even if you put a cushion on the couch.”
The interior designer’s video racked up more than 61,000 views, with people sharing their complaints about the unsavory decor.
One user said, “The thing I hate the most is the karate carved pillow.”
Another said: “I hate Versace and McQueen books.”
